Quiksilver Everyday Sessions Wetsuit Review
Dialing in a suit that keeps you warm during cold water sessions without breaking the bank can be challenging. The Quiksilver Everyday Sessions model line offers just that. Outfitted with the features you need and can count on, the Everyday Sessions will keep you stoked session after session.
In 2022, Quik dropped the tried and true Syncro, did a complete re-haul, and launched the all-new Everyday Sessions. Despite all the changes, this suit still remains a popular choice for first-time surfers, folks on a budget, and even seasoned veterans in need of a backup suit. In addition, it’s made in a wide variety of thicknesses and sizes ranging from a men’s Small to XXL. Join me as I dive deeper into the ins and outs of the Everyday Sessions model line.
“When Quik incorporates an eco-friendly rubber, a robust “velvet soft” thermal lining, internal taping, and water-based glues, what more do you need in a cold water suit? The Everyday Sessions is a great choice if you are looking for a wetsuit that will keep you warm while being durable and cost-effective.”

Quiksilver Everyday Sessions
Neoprene and Liners
The Everyday Sessions is constructed out of StretchFlight Eco Neoprene which is made using recycled materials, like scrap tires and neoprene waste. By using more sustainable manufacturing processes, Quiksilver reduces the CO2 emissions of each suit by 24%.
Wetsuit buyers take note: quality internal liners on cold water suits make a huge difference in terms of warmth and comfort. The Everyday Sessions features WarmFlight Eco Velvet, which has a cozy-looking burgundy color to it. You’ll find the WarmFlight from the knees up to the chest/back on this wetsuit, while the rest of the suit (arms, lower legs) has a standard lighter-weight liner that maximizes stretch and makes the suit easy to slide on and off.
Seams and Stitching
The Everyday Sessions uses GBS (glued and blind-stitched) seams, which is standard on many cold water suits. GBS construction creates a movable seam for increased flexibility from top to bottom. Quik also placed internal taping from the chest down through the knee pads of the suit and critical spot taped at seam junctions throughout the interior. This combination of seam manufacturing creates a warmer and more durable wetsuit. Lastly, all seams are sealed together with Aqua Alpha, a non-toxic, water-based glue.
Fit and Cut
According to the size chart for the Everyday Sessions, I’m between the LT and the XLT. At 6’2 and 195 lbs., I ended up going with the LT as it fit a bit more snugly than the XLT. The arms and legs were a hair short but not enough to warrant sizing up.
My first impression upon trying the Everyday Sessions was that it felt comfortable and flexible. Once I paddled out for a surf session, the neoprene relaxed and became more form-fitting. The ankles and wrists were snug and did an acceptable job keeping the water out. Even though I used the thicker 5/4 model, I still found the entry of the suit easy to get in and out of while sealing well when duck diving. Overall, I’m happy with the fit, and we’ve always felt like Quiksilver wetsuits fit true to size.
Performance
From my weeks of testing, the bottom line – the Everyday Sessions is a very comfortable and warm suit. The flexibility was excellent and allowed for easy paddling and movement. The hood fits comfortably and creates a solid seal around the face.
As someone who prefers internal taping on seams, I found the seams on the Everyday sessions to be comfortable and didn’t create irritation. While surfing chilly 50° F water, the Quiksilver Everyday Sessions 5/4/3 kept me extremely warm. Though I didn’t surf the suit in bone-chilling water temperatures, I would trust the 5/4/3 thickness of the Everyday Sessions to continue to keep me warm in water temperatures around the mid-40s.
Value and Durability
Overall, the Everyday Sessions is a great value for your dollar. It has just the right features to keep you warm while remaining simple and durable. Partially taped & GBS seams help increase the suit's longevity as they are strong and watertight where needed most. The Everyday Sessions will keep you toasty warm, and with many models available for under $300, you are getting a solid quality suit at a great price point.
