Surf Lessons & Events by Lexie Hallahan

Cleanline is proud to have Lexie Hallahan, Director of NW Women’s Surf Camps, as one of the Cleanline Surf instructors again this year, making this her 20th year partnered with Cleanline providing exceptional surf lessons and coaching.

Lexie has been a resident of the North Coast since 1989 with over 37 years combined experience in both surfing and bodyboarding. Cleanline is honored to have her as part of the team with extensive knowledge, experience and safety as a surfing instructor.

Lexie’s love and enthusiasm for the ocean is appealing. Her positivity will raise your spirits to a higher and happier place. A surf lesson or coaching with Lexie is an unforgettable experience in discovering a love and respect for the ocean and its waves.

In addition to being a warm, inspiring personality, she has decades of experience in NW waters. NW Women’s Surf Camps has raised the bar in the excellence of instruction and methodology as well as safety in every lesson and event. NWWSC provides Gath surf helmets to all her students as part of their concussion prevention program.

Certification Information

All instructors have taken and completed a Lifeguard Certification Course. All are currently certified in American Red Cross CPR and First Aid.

New Perspectives Day Adventures

New for 2024, New Perspectives Day Adventures for women and teen girls. Hike the Oregon Coast Trail, Kayak the heavenly Nehalem Bay, and join a Fish and Crabbing Charter out of Garibaldi Harbor. These unique North Coast experiences are created to celebrate the gift of empowerment of women learning in an all women day adventure together.

NW Women's Surf Camps

2024 is a milestone for NW Women’s Surf Camps, celebrating 20 years of Lexie and her team of coaches' summer program’s success. As the Director and head coach of the program, she offers surf instruction and coaching to women, men, teens and kids as young as 6 years. Beginner to intermediate surfing skills are taught in each session. You’ll learn the 12 essential surfing skills including paddling techniques and the 6 ingredients of surfing science she calls “the recipe for a perfect wave”. With this knowledge you will be well on your path of being able to dissect a surf forecast and know where and when to go, as well as understand about rip currents and how to safely exit them.

Surf Camps & Weekenders

Women and teen girls immerse yourselves into surfing or bodyboarding in Day Camps or Surf Weekenders. Women coaches teaching women and teen girls to surf and bodyboard is fun and empowering. Experience sweet connection and transformation in them. Meet new surf sisters.
