Customizing Fit
Wear the helmet for a few minutes to see if it fits well. The helmet, once secured, must be comfortable but it should not move forward/back. If the helmet is loose, insert the Halofit™ Pads to dial in your fit.
Two sets of pads are included – blue 7mm and green 9mm. SIMBA would recommend you start with the blue pads (7mm) first. Initially insert the pads without removing the paper backing to get your fit dialed in. Then remove the paper backing and press into place.

SIMBA Helmet Fit FAQ
How Do I Choose The Right Size?
Your SIMBA helmet should fit like a baseball cap. The objective is to fit the helmet snugly to your head. If your measurement is at the maximum for size Small or Medium (54cm or 57cm) SIMBA would recommend moving up to the next size.
Size
Head Circumference
S
20.47"-21.25" [52-54cm]
M
21.65"-22.44" [55-57cm]
L
22.83"-24.40" [58-62cm]
Can I Customize The Fit of the S1?
Yes.
How Do I Measure My Head?
Use a cloth tape to measure the circumference of your head. Ideally the measurement should be taken approximately 1/2″ above your ear. If you are in between sizes, or wear a hoodie we recommend you select the next size up.
What If There Are Pressure Points In My Helmet?
If the pressure point is at the front of the helmet, try placing the soft Halofit™ Pads in the front Halofit™ pad channel. This padding will often relieve the forehead pressure. One of the unique features of the SIMBA helmet is the foam molds to your head. Slight pressure points often disappear after several surf sessions.
