Additional Info
The oceans are a treasure. There’s nothing quite like those magical waves that roll in from the horizon, filled with energy from far, far away. Like snowflakes, no two are the same, leading surfers and sea-lovers to create a special language to describe them, depending on shape, size, power and location. That’s what this surf-themed ABC book is about. From “A-Frames” that look like the first letter alphabet, to famed breaks like J-Bay and Trestles, 26 waves are playfully depicted and described with a wink that will make surfy parents smile.
WHAT'S INSIDE THE BOOK?
Waves! An alphabet of 26 wave types, accompanied by a rhyming definition of what the word means. A little scavenger hunt inside the front cover adds an extra layer of fun for kids as they journey through their ABCs.
WHO'S THIS BOOK FOR?
Children (of course), parents, grandparents, friends, land-lubbers, shredders, kooks, kahunas, and anybody else who loves the ocean.
