Additional Info
In the last few seasons it has excelled on countless surf trips and at the more powerful locations on the WCT, ridden by the entire Traktor Team if they feel the surf calls for at least an inch longer than their regular shortboard.
When Ace won the Tahiti Pro in perfect double overhead Teahupo’o, he chose a slightly longer version of his regular 5’10” Forget Me Not, and rode a FMN3 Step Up 6’0” to victory. There’s been a long list of highlights during our development of the FMN3 Step Up.
Wave Type
In the last few seasons it has excelled on countless surf trips and at the more powerful locations on the WCT, ridden by the entire Traktor Team if they feel the surf calls for at least an inch longer than their regular shortboard.
Rocker
FMN3 STEP UP has a medium + rocker that is perfectly suited to hollow, powerful waves. The entry point is high enough to prevent any catch on the front edge yet quickly balances out to make sure speed is maintained. The exit rocker mixes enough curve to allow tight pocket turns and down the line speed. The FMN3 STEP UP rocker has taken years of fine tuning and refinement to get it to where it is today!
Fin Setups
The FMN3 Step Up comes stock as a 5 fin. Alternative setups are available with custom orders.
Concave
A subtle single to double concave means the board will harness all the waves power and give you complete control. (Too much concave in powerful waves will mean too much lift, which ultimately gives you less control).
Rail Type
The FMN3 Step Up has low rails. Allowing you to turn at high speeds without unwanted resistance.
